> You feel awkward as fuck when his hands near you, even more so when he touches you. You know he’s just trying to help, but you’re really uncomfortable with the way he goes about it. Of course, you don’t let it show.
> You’re really uncertain you ever knew that troll’s name, the one your mind is trying so hard to associate with this color fuchsia. Wasn’t that troll also female? Damn, you just aren’t sure.
> That’s your only report on your current condition, because it’s the only thing you’re certain of. You know you’ll live - Headaches and lost memories don’t kill a person.
And I have no fucking idea.
You raise an eyebrow as he speaks again. You watch him as he steadied and seemed better. You slowly take your hands away and put them to your side. He felt familiar to you and you weren’t sure why. Maybe if you spent more time with him, it’ll come back to you.
“Really? That’s strange. I’m sure you’ll live, but if you don’t have a place to stay, you might not be saying that much longer. I can tell you that.” You grin a bit. You couldn’t help it. It was just in your nature.
“Would you like a place to stay?”
> You’re debating wandering around, not wanting to become a problem for this perfect stranger. But he’s offering you a place to stay, already warning you that you probably won’t survive long out here. You’d like to say that you could manage, mostly since you’ve got your katana and having no memories doesn’t mean you can’t fight, but you know better than to act on a head strong impulse. So, you relent.
Yeah, sure, if that’s alright.
> Maybe it’s not the best idea to go with him. He comes off as a nice enough guy, but he’s got horns and grey skin and he’s clearly not human or anything you’d remember, even with your current ailment. But staying out here isn’t exactly your first choice, either, so you guess it’ll have to do. Who knows, maybe he would be able to tell you a little about yourself.
"Follow me. I will keep you safe."
That being said, you bring the human to a cave which seemed small on the inside. You stand in the middle of the cave and say
"Stand next to me."
Once Dirk does, you kick a small lever by your feet and the small area of ground around you becomes a platform that lowers you into a very large underground home. It was very well decorated with gold details on half the decorations. There are similar bits of jewelry on the side table nearby that looked like the ones you were already wearing. But they had been busted from fighting to stay alive at some points of wandering.
"Make yourself at home. My only rule is don’t break anyfin."
You pause when you realize you made a fish pun. You shake your head and continue.
"I hope to help you gain some memory back, Dirk. Would you like something to eat?"
